enriches community life by providing high quality academic programs in
a learning environment that

LSUA's mission statement is displayed above. Consistent with its mission as an open admission institution, LSUA
admits new students with proof of completion of high school, GED or
equivalent experiences and ACT scores. Transfer students must submit
official transcripts from other schools attended and must be eligible
to continue at their previous institutions. LSUA also offers the
Program for Adult Special Students (PASS) for non-degree seeking
students over the age of 21 in which the previously-stated requirements
are waived. LSUA admission requirements are published on p.19-33 of the
LSUA Catalog 2005-2006 [1] . The Class Schedule [2] bulletin also includes relevant admission information.
