Federal Requirement 4.8
The institution is in compliance with its program responsibilities
under Title IV of the 1998 Higher Education Amendments. (In reviewing
the institution’s compliance with these program responsibilities, the
Commission relies on documentation forwarded to it by the Secretary of
Education.)

During fiscal year 2004-2005, LSU at Alexandria awarded a total of
$13,145,401 in financial aid to students, including Federal Pell
Grants, SEOG, LEAP, loans, work study, state scholarships,
institutional scholarships, and other aid [1] .
LSUA's Financial Aid and Scholarships is authorized to participate in
these programs by the U.S. Department of Education under a Program
Participation Agreement valid through March 31, 2007 [2] .
LSUA's financial aid program is audited every other year by the
Louisiana Legislative Auditor. LSUA was most recently audited in August
2005[3] . A report from these audits is sent to the U.S. Department of Education.
