During fiscal year 2004-2005, LSU at Alexandria awarded a total of $13,145,401 in financial aid to students, including Federal Pell Grants, SEOG, LEAP, loans, work study, state scholarships, institutional scholarships, and other aid [1] View 1: Annual Award Year Financial Aid Analysis 2004 - 2005. LSUA's Financial Aid and Scholarships is authorized to participate in these programs by the U.S. Department of Education under a Program Participation Agreement valid through March 31, 2007 [2] View 2: Letter from U.S. Department of Education with Eligibility and Certification Approval Report (March 2003).

LSUA's financial aid program is audited every other year by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor. LSUA was most recently audited in August 2005[3] View 3: Memo from Legislative Auditor (July 6, 2005). A report from these audits is sent to the U.S. Department of Education.
