Statement of Integrity and Commitment

Louisiana State University at Alexandria has conducted this compliance audit according to the principles and philosophy of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The University accepts the responsibility to adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by the Commission on Colleges and commits to fulfilling these responsibilities with integrity, honesty, and openness. Louisiana State University at Alexandria is in full agreement with the principles and philosophy of accreditation, including the commitment to providing quality educational programs with a focus on student learning.

This compliance audit was comprehensive in scope and covered all aspects of the institution. The Compliance Certification attests to compliance with the accreditation requirements of the Commission on Colleges. Louisiana State University at Alexandria welcomes a thorough examination of all aspects of its operations and provides access to complete and accurate information pertinent to the operation and the governance of the institution. Louisiana State University at Alexandria will cooperate fully with the Commission on Colleges by supplying all requested information and by maintaining an open atmosphere supportive of the evaluators' performance of their duties.

In seeking reaffirmation of accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Louisiana State University at Alexandria

  1. Attests to its commitment and intent to comply with the Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement;


  2. Understands and accepts that the Commission on Colleges may make known to any agency or member of the public that may request such information, the nature of any action regarding its status with the Commission; and


  3. Agrees to disclose to the Commission on Colleges any and all information the Commission may require to carry out its evaluation and accreditation duties.
